Own Your Size

Wear your clothes in sizes that fit and flatter. Who cares what the tag says… I mention “sizes” as a plural because if you tried 10 different designer jeans in the same size, they would all fit you differently. I can wear 3 different sizes! If thinking about size really bothers you, cut off all of the size tags once your purchase the clothes. The important part here is to feel good about what you’re wearing. You’re sexy; own it!

Flattering your body is up to you. Much of the time when women attempt to hide what they think are their not-so-perfect areas, they actually HIDE their positive qualities. Reality check: we are women. Most of us do have curves. Let’s show them off!

There’s a line between too loose and too tight. You want to stay on the line of “just right.” Wear clothes that skim or glide over your body, not clothes that cling to or hide your curves.

Every body is different. If you are unable to hire a tailor/ seamstress to custom-fit your clothes, try choosing only the clothes that fit & flatter you off the rack. Try on every piece in the store fitting room before you purchase it to make sure that it fits and flatters you. If you hire a tailor, start with your most “important” pieces first to make the biggest impact on your wardrobe.

It's not your size that matters; it's the way you feel about yourself that matters!
